At The Raj Restaurant in New Milton, we tried to put the past behind us and move into the present. The Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine served here is an amalgam of old and new. The menu is a stunning repertoire of favourite Indian dishes of the last 30 years. Our 200 year old style of cooking known as the legendary Dum Pukt Indian Cuisine- was created by the Moguls. And, deemed so spectacular that until now only a handful of places in the world was able to successfully serve it.

We would like to echo this in our restaurant and so our aim is to give you the perfect dining experience. We create this by our inviting and relaxing décor, attentive but unobtrusive service; a mouth watering selection of cuisine from our homeland and a selection of fine wines from our diverse cellar. It is you our guests who create the atmosphere and make The Raj what it is today. We believe that the creation of the finest meals begins with the selection of the best ingredients, so our Chefs take care to acquire daily the best produce available locally and the finest spices from around the world.
